Next I will implement a local socket to act as the receiving from the BE and responding to the BE

Ready to test the responses from quad->backend.
Then create the correct response from backend->frontend and print nicely

- Changed C standard
- Changed wpedantic to pedantic
- Deleted some unused code that used nonexistent time functions
- Fixed a bug with VRPN

Monitor should totally work, as should backend/frontend trackerdata updating

Fixed up makefile for frontend-common.

Was done by copying files, rather than a merge. This nuked the
commit history.
